I invite everyone to be bold and creative
in this task of rethinking the goals, structures, styles and metholds of evangelization
in their respective communities.

Who We Are:
Since 2004, St. Joseph's Evangelization Ministry has been supporting our Parish's mission of bringing the Good News of the Gospel to all the Manor familes. Through evangelization retreats, adult catechesis and fostering small communities that grow in faith, enthusiasm and love for God, we aspire to emulate the first Christian communities as outlined in Acts 2:42-47.
What we Do:
Our ministry collaborates with our Pastor to build and keep an active and permanently evangelizing parish centered in the message of Jesus Christ.
Our yearly Evangelization retreat invites all the families in the area to spend a weekend in the presence of The Lord, renewing their faith and beginning a new life guided by the Holy Spirit.
How We Grow Together:
All retreat participants are invited to persevere in their spiritual journey by joining a small community that meets weekly to praise The Lord and study the teachings of the Church, guided by a planned and structured catechesis program. This is a wonderful opportunity for all the members to grow in their faith, get to know the St. Joseph family, and become involved in our parish activities and ministries.
How we Serve the Community:
Our small communities members are involved in different ministries, serving as catechists, Eucharist Ministers, Fiesta Copmmittee members, Choir participants and Lectors. Throughout the Austin area, member also gather to participate in and promote social justice.
The Missionary Call:
Members of the small communities who have felt called to serve with a more formal committment, have received formation in order to become part of the Austin Chapter of the Missionaries of the Cross Fraternity. We currently have 11 active part-time Missionaries of the Cross at St. Joseph's.
